Activation Email & Slider Issue

Hello,

I am having issues with my members not receiving their activation emails once they have completed the registration form. Also, I’m not sure how to remove or add images to the slider on the homepage. Originally there were images from the blogs, but the blogs have since been removed and I’m not sure how to change it. Any idea how to fix these?
