How a Knockout tournaments ends?

Hello, If i created a knockout type tournament and it’s in playing status with 100 players. When its’s going to in end status?

For suppose, this tournament is in playing status and the match is ended in the game. Will the all 100 players submit their results? or Admin will submit the results and than brackets will generate and the 1st winner?
