New Registration Loop or Invalid Capcha Error

Hi Zorz,

Running into an issue with new users trying to register for the site using theme’s Register button. Initially it was pushing the error that the Captcha was invalid because it isn’t visible. I had the Google reCaptcha plugin installed, set to Version 2.0. It did show on the Sign In option and worked fine, this is only new user registration. I believe I have read elsewhere that it is hardcoded as invisible on the registration page, but even flipping between 2.0 and invisible doesn’t change the behavior.

So I disabled the plugin. The theme’s Register page then just results in a loop. After filling out the form, and clicking Sign Up Today, it just refreshes the page and doesn’t create or user or anything else. I have tried registering through the default WP option and that does work.

Need help! Everything appeared to be working well until this latest round of UAT that identified new issues. I’ll reply with credentials after this post.
