Project Page and WP Menu

Just curious, why wouldn’t the end user have the option to edit or delete a project that is still in progress? Is this an issue regarding receiving payments, with the funding options or is it always going to be this way? I would prefer that the end user always have access to edit or delete their own projects, as you can see I am using the demo user account.

Also, I noticed that pesky WordPress Menu likes to appear up on the page when the person is signed in. How can I remove it, that is an annoyance.
