To save people some time. The demo upload doesn’t look like the demo.
I don’t think my site is too far off being where I need it to be to get started http://www.fantasyquest.net it’s simply a case of tweaking what I have so far and overwriting text and images etc. You will have to learn some new plugins if you want total customisation.
So the steps I took:
Install the demo content as the theme as described.
Look for the post – Please how make hompage look like demo?
It has a demo layer slide from the author, go into layer slider and upload this zip file to give you a mirror of what is on the demo homepage. Form here you can make whatever tweaks you want to the image text etc.
