users problem and mass idea for BP

Good morning.

Today, I found out that when people signing up on the website, they don’t need to click on the activation link. This makes lots of users join without having them in your member’s list.

This is because when a player signs up, he automatically gets the gamer role. When activating his account, he gets the needed forum rights as ”participant”

What if it was possible to add some stuff to this future? like, I’m talking about link activation within the 24 hours before their account gets automatically deleted.

Or what about that we would be able to edit the register system so we could add a google ads banner to the register page. I made a big list of potential options that we would love to see return in the arcane theme.

1. as spoken above, adding a time before the link expires
2. as spoken above, adding an option for adding google ads in register page ( register.php? )
3. Own profile redesign. ( explain more of this later )
4. Members VIP slug/role. meaning they will not see or being interfered with any ads.
5. Get rid of WP discord and integrate guilded.gg ( request their staff for this. i know they are interested to develop with others for improvements and integrations )

An own profile design is more mentioning that the user could use visual composer on their own BuddyPress profile page to arrange the profile they like. ( with possible limitations if you don’t want that they can use youtube links or scripts or anything else that could harm the community or yourself )
