custom roles

Hi,
I’m having an issue where the WordPress Admin menu items (Posts, Media, Pages, etc…) are not showing up in Arcane for custom roles (made with User Role Editor plugin). They show up for those roles when the theme is set to Twenty Seventeen (WordPress default). I am also unable to change the new user default role while on Arcane, but I can while using Twenty Seventeen.
