Updating header.php

I’m getting error message,

“Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.”

When I try to update the code below for Register menu item in header.php from #myModalL to “http://zimcoopunion.com/membership-account/membership-levels/”

Please advise or support.
