fundingpress v2 goes blank on activate

Hi there.
i just bought the theme last night and i am very excited about it, and i would also want to buy your social-reach theme to integrate the services they bring together.
However, although i have installed funding_press just like tens of other themes, i don’t seem to make it work. I tried to see if i uploaded binary – check. I looked into the wp_config/database, and all the other themes i tested work just fine – check.
I uninstalled w3tcache, just in case, also – check. I deactivated all plugins just to eliminate the possibility of a conflict – check.
I am running a 3.9.2 WP, on a nginx server with mysql and upload on sftp connection (not that it matters).

Any ideas?
