My website is a fresh install of WP, on fresh hosting using Godaddy’s deluxe package, nothing changed and nothing installed. Fresh purchase right after I bought this theme

When I upload the wordpress theme through the .zip file provided the web page would crash. I called godaddy to find the error they told me to upload the theme via FTP. I connected to the FTP and uploaded the file to the theme folder. When I went to activate the theme it says;

Website is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Can you guys connect to my FTP and help me get this install going? For some reason when I upload your files provided they just crash my server. Godaddy is the worlds leading host and most used host so they told me to contact you guys to install the theme, but I’m not paying $60 when I’m following the instructions properly. I’ve been using WP since 2014 and have created many websites, can you guys please help me figure out what’s wrong?
