Cant get to WordPress Admin menus

After installing demo I cant seem to figure out how to get to wordpress admin menus to customize and change any settings for the them. I must be missing it somewhere. The install of the demo seems to have wiped out my admin login from the original wordpress install and I am left with the default user and pass only with no access to wordpress menus. Any help is appreciated.
