using registration and login question and plugin alternatives

I have set up a site using your theme and for the most part things are really good.

As regards to the registration and login, it’s more practical for us to be able to redirect users to a particular page after registration or logging in. Even if the non-logged in user clicks on “Submit a Project” it’s just redirecting to the homepage which is not practical nor user friendly. A user who is not logged in should be prompted with a registration page with the capability of logging in if they already have an account in both cases will redirect to the Submit a Project page. I don’t think this is such a major issue which requires purchasers of the theme to hire a programmer to custom code some lines of code to make a redirect for a pop up modal as I have read in previous comments.

Lastly, is it possible to use a registration/login plugin that can be used in place of what’s currently existing?
