is the an option to decline backers in fundingpress

Hi I am wanting to give the project creators a way to decline a backer if they want
so before they collect the funding they can close the fundings that they want. I have looked into jquery to close div.project-backer col-lg-3 in the f-project.php but im having trouble. Can you tell me if this would work even if i worked it out. Or is there a better solution? Thanks
