Contributors

I have searched the forums and haven’t found anything that can help with my issue.

I am using the Arcane Theme to work on my website and would like to allow a few people that I grant the contributor role to be able to write new posts for the review section of my site.

However by default the only way I can do this is if I remove the gamer role from them and give them the contributor role. If I do this the user can no longer make a team.

I have tried multiple role/capability plugins to be able accomplish this and currently use Multiple Roles (https://wordpress.org/plugins/multiple-roles/), to assign both roles to the test user.

If I use a plugin to allow both roles, the gamer role supersedes the contributor role and they still cannot access https://MYDOMAIN/wp-admin/post-new.php to create a new post.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can accomplish this?
