Stripe Needs Updating for EU

Hi,

the Stripe setup in this theme is no longer compatible with the new European SCA, since it went into effect in September of 2019. Instead of using charges you should be using PaymentIntents or SetupIntents if you’d still like to support Stripe as a gateway. I thought the issue might have been fixed in the August CRITICAL update but upon further inspection it wasn’t. I suggest you check out Stripe’s SDK again and make the neccessery implementations or at least notify your potencial buyers and current users that until this is update it they might be breaking the law if they collect Europena users credit card info.
