Registration Not Functioning

I added a reply to another user’s request for a fix, but there has been no response. The registration in the theme is not functioning, there is no e-mail sent, and there is a perpetual spinning “loading” on the registration form. There appears to be numerous users with this issue, is there a fix that has been identified? Is there a planned update that includes this fix? Seems like there has been radio silence on this issue for a while.
