Layer Slider

I am trying to get the layer slider to appear as you have it on the demo, but I am not being very successful. I have the Layer Slider set in the Home sidebar widget section and I set one of my pages to use the template “Homepage” and it doesn’t appear. I have already setup the Layer Slider itself but the only way I can make it appear on any page is by using its shortcode.

I can’t use the shortcode when you use the “Latest Posts” as your static page. I want the layer slider to be able to appear on that page as well. Any help would be appreciated.
