Layer slider Auto updates

Im sorry if this has been posted, I do remember reading about it randomly but cannot find the thread.  Also I have searched thoroughly and cannot find anything in relation,  sorry if their is, you can easily link me.

I am running 3.0 (soon to update to 3.2) and in the layer slider purchase code box, I have entered the correct information.  The information I receive is:
 “Your purchase code doesn’t appear to be valid. Please make sure that you entered your purchase code correctly.”
