Newbie Requires Aid with XML import

I am not trying to abuse support as it is a rather minor question / request.

I imported the .xml file to try and get my website to look identical to the live demo, or as close as can be.

and it kind of went crazy.

I am happy to give someone access to the WP backend if they can help me fix it xD
