Error While Activating Theme on WordPress

Hello! I just bought the theme today, and sadly it didn’t install correctly.

I tried to activate the theme, to switch from my previous one. It went to a blank white screen, and created an error file in my website’s files. I checked it out, and it was yelling at me about plugins. At this point I had already reinstalled wordpress,so I only had the default plugins. I deleted them via FTP, and tried to activate it again. it created another error file that states:
[30-Jul-2014 02:38:43 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home4/adhdcare/public_html/coffecraft/wp-content/themes/gameaddict/themeOptions/functions.php on line 1

What’s wrong here? I didn’t do anything to the files.
