Game Addict will not install

I cannot get game addict to install. I have tried the wp add new theme. After spinning for a few moments I get an error message. When I FTP the files to the theme folder and then try to activate the theme I get this error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home2/basicimp/public_html/alchemystic.org/wp-content/themes/game-addict/themeOptions/functions.php on line 1

I had to remove all the game addict theme files from my server.
