Change width and position of menu

Hi there,

So I would like to move my menu bar to the top of the page and make it “fullwidth” while the rest of the page remains the same (See Picture). How do I go about doing this?

I have a child-theme up and running so if I need to edit a css/php-file that’s no problem.
