Permalinks Not Working

Hello,

I cannot get permalinks to work at all while the BlackFyre theme is currently active. I am using a fresh lastest install of WordPress without any plugins.

I want the permalink structure to be POSTNAME.

When I go to the settings in WordPress for permalinks the config looks as if POSTNAME is already enabled, but it actually is NOT.

When I try to change the setting to something else it reverts back to POSTNAME and says “Permalink structure updated” although it wasn’t.

When creating new pages the permalinks appear to have the correct format.

But then when you try to preview the page it cannot be found.

However I can view the page with the default permalink format in the URL
