Html Register/Login

I’ve got the HTML version and want to utilize the login/registration. I understand that I need to connect a database to the site with custom code in order for this to work. Can anyone provide any direction on this code? Is this code complex, say, for a weekend programmer (by no means am I a professional)? Is there any documentation that explains the ajax.js files and the parts of code in the html files that utilize the logon and registration function? I noticed that the logon function is pointed to skywarriorthemes’s website as the action in the index.html. So, its actually running the code on that website as opposed to locally somewhere? Again, I am no professional just trying to get this logon function usable.
