author user cant acces the post page

Hello

I’ve tried using a custom role manager plugin to get the user group “author” to be able to create news in the WP dashbord.

When an author tries to connect to the dashboard he’s welcomed by a “You are not allowed to access this part of the site” message.

I’ve left the standard author settings and tried view settings there, no change…

Any quick fix to this?
