Replacement for BuddyPress, BBPress and Disqus

To the development team:

A lot of the issues I’ve seen posted here are related to BuddyPress, BBpress or Disqus. I found a couple solutions that could make this theme more modern and less bloated.

The creators of JomSocial have just released Peepso (https://www.peepso.com/), a Buddypress alternative that instead of being community driven, has a solid development team behind it. Migrating over to Peepso would be a solid development decision instead of relying on Disqus for comments and the aging BuddyPress platform. It’s also open source so you could extend your clan wars plugin into it.

Muut (https://muut.com), is a replacement for BBPress forums, which BTW lacks most of the features to be considered a complete forum solution. Muut is another product with a solid development team behind it. Both of these systems have the option for premium support which would also lessen the load for your team here.

Discourse.org is also worth mentioning, it is by far and wide the most advanced forum platform available. It’s free, open source and has a wordpress sso plugin available https://github.com/discourse/wp-discourse
