Is GameAddict Not VC Compatiable?

I have bought VC separate from GameAddict and it seems as if the two don’t work well together. It’s able to pop up when editing a page but fails to load the content/item I want to use within the page. Example, it pops up the options of which content or structure type to use, I click the item and it doesn’t load into the editor. It goes dead and I can click forever without it loading a single line. What’s the dillio?
