Change the Gamer Role default

Hi there, i have been scratching my head over this for a few days I want to change the Default gamer role to say Standard role when i do the the site doesn’t change it it remains Gamer so ok i downloaded a rle editor and edited gamer permission but here is the thing when i saved it it looked fine when i refreshed the page it changed them back automatically.

thought ok its a plugin conflict or something along that but here is the thing i ended up turning them all off every single plugin and i still cant change that gamer role to a different one can any one help with this as its officially frying my brain
