Apply translation

I have a hard time applying a translation someone created and shared in one of the sticky posts.

I have the .mo & .po files. What do I do now? Can someone explain me, please, step by step?

I tried to create a this folders /wp-content/languages/themes/blackfyre and put it there…but nothing happened.
