Can parallax blocks be responsive?

Hello,

I was attempting to recreate the “Are you Ready?” parallax block on the Oblivion demo. I have a few questions about it. Is it a LayerSlider inserted into a parallax block? If so do you have any advice for recreating it? My images seem to be all over the place and I’m going off trial and error which takes up a lot of time.

I noticed that in both the demo version and my own there is a tiny gap on the left hand side and a tiny overlap on the right. Is there any way to avoid this?

Lastly, I have just noticed that it isn’t responsive and looks awful on mobile. Are parallax blocks a ‘no no’ for responsive designs?
