Can't hide forum page or restrict user viewing it

Hi,

I need the forum to be not accessable to specific users.
I am using UltimateMember to manage user and their restrictions.

The address is xxxxxxxx.com/forum/
When I go to admin->page->forum i can set it to “access only for role xxxxx” but i am still able to view it even when i am completely logged out.
I also tried with admin->page->forumpress

Is the forum page not linked with regular pages?
At the moment the only solution that I can come up with is completely hide the menu item for the specific roles. But if they have the direct link they can still see the forum (also when logged out)

Is there any solution for this?
