Creating Child Theme from Main theme

Hi Guys,

After many late nights of editing i only saw recently that i should of created a child theme and edited that instead. Does anyone know if there is a way of me doing that now. I cannot afford to start over 🙁

Lastly i had a look in the description for the change logs but was not able to find anything. Could someone please link me to the changelog.
