Group Photos Won't Upload

For the BlackFyre theme, when I select an image file from my PC to upload to the system as the Photo for a BuddyPress Group, nothing happens. The image remains a low-res copy of my profile avatar, and cannot be changed.

I saw this post for the same issue:

But it was left unresolved.

Please help me to fix this problem. I haven’t included my admin login credentials because I don’t see any setting to make this topic private.
