Home Page Slider Not Showing Images

So I’ve got the Blackfyre slider showing on the front page. But what is not showing is an image. I’m getting a white background. I’ve set the image in the slider image part. I’ve also got the slider showing a category of posts (albeit one at the moment). And if I set the featured image in that post, the slider just doesn’t even show up at all. How do I get the slider to have an image?
