How to update Custom Post types plugin ?

Hello, I just want to know how can I update Custom Post type plugin separately ?
I have updated theme by just updating the files which were changed. Now I am looking to update this “Custom Post Type Plugin” as it is given in change log that it has been updated. I could not find any files associated with this plugin in theme folder.
