Clans buggy?

Seems that the clan function has become rather buggy. Here’s the problem.

Individuals can’t join ‘clans’ as there’s no way to click the actual link to go into a pending state. Then when going to the members tab, it gives the following error message.

Contemplating using this theme for a project I’m relaunching, but if clans aren’t working, that’s a major downfall. Here’s a demo of not being able to request to join a sample clan.
