Installed plug – in "Users Ultra Pro" and Navigation menu broke

I installed the plug in Users Ultra Pro, you can find it here https://wordpress.org/plugins/users-ultra/. Once installed the nav menu drop down function(to view sub menu items) is non existent. I disabled it and isolated the problem and figured out it is users ultra doing it. I went to their support forum for help and they found a Java script error and told me the Java script line $(“#webticker”).webTicker()” might be causing the problems. I’m not a Java script pro at all but I’m not using the ticker on any page. Is this related to the ticker? If so I wouldn’t mind not having that, I don’t use that function at all. Please help me. I’ve pretty much worked around over 20 bugs with this template myself.
