Issues with latest 3.7

Hi, a few issues that were supposed to have been fixed with the 3.7 update are not fixed.

1. Blog post featured image is not working. It does not show. as you can see in this screenshot: http://puu.sh/8af7l/1859ac1507.jpg
2. There is a white line that appears in the paralax block to the left if you view it on a normal monitor (non-widescreen): http://puu.sh/81hUx.jpg

Another issue that I am facing is that on 4K screens, the background is not big enough, is it possible to make the banner resize according to screen?
