LayerSlider Issue

I’m seeing a red banner and error from LayerSlider ‘The Slider cannot be found – please be sure you’ve used the right shortcode or method…’. I’m using the default shortcode [layerslider id=”1″] and PHP function <?php layerslider(1) ?>. My other sliders (2, 3, 4) work properly.

This question has been previously asked by people but not actually answered with instructions in any forum. Any staff able to write out steps for me?
