Layerslider Responsive function doesnt work for me

Dear Skywarriors,

Im working on my site and recently bought the game addict theme.
The Theme looks really good but im encountering some issues with the layerslider plugin.

First of all Layerslider has a newer version but i cant seem to update it since i need a license code. From what i understand the license code was included in the theme. I cant update the theme to update the plugin. How do i update the layerslider wp plugin?

Then im encoutering another issue with scaling the sliders to every kind of screen. I made a video how different it looks on the PC and Laptop.

The Slider options are on Responsive but that alone doesn’t work. How to i get the sliders to be scaled the exact same size?
