Missing some effects/styles after updating!

Hi after updating to newer version of the template i lost a few effects/styles and i cant seem to fix this for some reason i will post some preview examples of what i mean.

Like the darkened images that become brighter over hover doesnt work anymore:

U guys probly will look at the source code and i know it is being compressed and optimized alot but i know what i am doing and the previous version of the template worked fine with exactly same setup and plugins etc i did try to deactivate and even delete all plugins but that did not change anything. I tried everything i could think of but nothing seemed to work.
