Multiple Issues with Oblivion

First off, I got this theme to speed up the process of putting my new portfolio online to make it easier with school and such. Now that I’m on my ‘summer break’ I have been trying to update my site with some various stuff, Mainly to the portfolio section. When I add a portfolio piece it either doesn’t show at all or takes a few days to show. This is in no way a good thing for me.

As for the front page version of the portfolio section they dont load -at all. I’ve spent a couple hours deleting, deactivating, etc all my plug ins and so far everything is ‘no joy’.

Secondly, even with Caching on the site takes forever to load on my Dreamhost, GoDaddy, Personal Dedicated server (Which is in my house btw), and my works test server. The latter of the four are in no way ‘weak’ boxes and testing speeds with a current work project loads in about 2x quicker than Oblivion and requires a lot more resources to load.
