Oblivion WP Template – LayerSlider Issues

I have been fighting this for days and cant quite figure it out. In order to get the slider to work, I have to turn on “Use Google CDN version of jQuery” option. When I do this, It causes the add new media page stop working, and messes with my carousel bar on my page as well. So I went to update the plugin to the beta and cant. It requires a purchase code. I tried the one that I got with my purchase, and no dice. I need this fixed asap please.
