Page Builder Issues (News Blocks)

Getting 2 issues both related I think to the pagebuilder.  I have the latest version of the code as well installed on the site.  Neither of these issues I saw in the previous version.  I am wondering if I should just reinstall an older version at this point?

First, is the headers on the sections of the site are missing the “black” bar next to the label you see with other types (like widgets).  You can see the issue in this screenshot, also the formatting of the news areas seems way off now.

Second is if I try to select a category for the news blocks I get the following error message:
