Parse error when upgrating theme to latest version

Hi,

I upload files from envato in a new folder called arcane-new, i rename arcane to arcane old and rename arcane -new to arcane.
When i refresh browser i get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘if’ (T_IF) in /home/sitename/public_html/wp-content/themes/arcane/inc/lib/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 1

Is there something i must do or something i am doing wrong?
