ReCaptcha does not prevent spam registration

I decided to ask here, perhaps someone will know the solution.
I discovered that recaptcha doesn’t work. Users can simply ignore it during registration and account will be created anyway. I tried to do something on my own, but to no avail.

I’ve been getting more and more spam registrations in recent days. Yesterday I deleted over 200 accounts in total.
