Server 500 error when activating Oblivion or clicking Theme Options

Hi folks, purchased this yesterday and installed. I get a 500 error when trying to install the theme .zip through WP, but if I FTP directly to my server it is fine. However when I activate the theme, takes me a to the generic 500 page. Same when clicking Theme Options.

The theme is active however, and all other themes and plugins work fine. I’m on Theme v3.8 and WP 4.1. Windows server/Plesk 11. Can private msg login info.

No luck tracking down the 500 error cause, as it only happens with this theme and now that it’s active, only when clicking Theme Options. Any ideas?
