Turning Portfolio Items into Pages

I would like portfolio items to show up under a drop-down in the menu. I am able to change the pages showing up under the drop-down but don’t have to option to put portfolio items. Alternatively, can I make portfolio items into pages? I tried copy pasting the shortcodes but these do not seem to be working.

I am specifically talking about the Portfolio Single Gallery.
