Updating the theme whitout losing any setting made in Pagebuilder

Just a simple stupid question.

How can I update my theme without loosing any setting, im on version 2.2. I spend hours in the page builders and theme setting and I fear that if I deactivate – Delete – Re-upload I might loose all the work that I have done.

Any tips and trick on that ?

I was going to just delete the theme file in my FTP and replace the theme folder by the new one … Normally on all my other website I just uninstall the theme and install it again with the new version but now … I have so many custom setting in these page builder ….

Since this theme use so many customization “in theme setting” I think that a “safe way to update the theme” should be written in the help documentation.
