Add on idea: Games catalog

New future request ”Games catalog”

A new option that would rock people their minds. A games catalog. What do I mean with this and what could be the benefits of this great new add on? How should it look like and what would we expect from it?

First of all to start with is that this is not an actually update. Its an massive idea, typed out before posting it as it contains a lot of needed information. You are always free to suggest anything to include with this games catalog. Together, we are stronger.

The idea

The idea of the plug-in is that people can add their own games in the catalog-list. This could be handy for game community’s as well for game developers, E sports and even as an add on for the Tournaments section.

With the plugin, the following option will be included.

1. Catalog option as category. Means more related to genres, what means categories such as MMORPG, Shooter, adventure and so on.
2. Developers link to their website
3. External linking. Good for buying the item with the goldmine system of G2A for example, KID affiliate links to present the games you are partnered with or a back-link to the woo commerce page.
4. Short summary of the game.
5. Extended information of the game ( such as game specs needed as hardware for the game )
6. When having the tournaments plug in, a new free option will be added for tournaments. This way, games that are listed on here that’s also been used for clan wars will a green informational sign ( same design as that from VC ) say ”We support this game for tournaments” or anything else you wish to add.

Tip! Use the slug system for recognizing the games you have listed in the tournaments games section.

8. Game in development or is it free 2 play? Choose between 5 options. ”still in development, free 2 play, closed beta, open beta and buy now”
9. What console can this game be played on? More options can be chosen from all console selection.
10. SP, MP, Co-OP game? options. More are selectable.

If a game is related to MP games or Co-Op and contains several battle maps or race maps such as call of duty or need for speed. These can be added as well in the maps section of this game. A second tab with the name ” maps ” is shown on the game page. Also here, when the tournaments uses one or more of this map, a small sign will be placed for letting the member know that the map is supported.

In this way, you can generate money and a database in one that’s always been updated with this theme. Means that you don’t need some kind of 3th plug-in that would be not supported later anymore for some reason. ( also a bit to prevent the captha drama again )

With an extra option to add Google ads between several games or under each section of the category.
